1. Roshan’s garage construction
Concern: a self-serving certification compared with a permit.
The board discussed the certification form. It is incomplete. It indicates that the structure must be 330 feet from the eagle’s nest.
Action steps
- Bill and Lynne will draft an email to Roshan.
- Certified letters will be sent to the County and to Fish and Wildlife.
2. Go-carts on private trails
Concern: go-carts trespassing on and destroying private trails on non-easement property.
A resident destroyed the river trail, cut more trees, painted the stumps bright red, and mowed the grasses to lawn, which is great for the wildlife particularly with a drought. A trail was put through the wetlands while the owners were away.
Action steps
- The owners contacted the Sheriff’s office and the State’s Attorney. They requested extra surveillance. Two sheriffs arrived and discussed trespassing, with a warning of fines if it continues. The resident was visited on May 6, 2026 and warned to keep vehicles off the property.
- The HOA board will send a letter to the Sheriff’s office supporting the owners’ efforts.
- The owner asked that the community be notified that motor-vehicle trespass should be reported, and that an arrest will be conducted. An email will be sent.
- Reports of an unlicensed vehicle on the roadways, with the date and time, will go to the commissioner’s office, and a traffic citation will be issued.
- The board will record all reports of incidents.
- Craig will set up temporary cameras facing the drainage field and the woodlands.
