A true emergency is a call to 911. A problem on community property is a call, text, or visit to a board member.
Fire, ambulance, police, a crime in progress, or anyone who is hurt.

For a true emergency, call 911. That includes a fire, a medical emergency, a crime in progress, or anyone who is hurt. Do not call a board member first.
For a community problem, call, text, or visit any board member directly. That includes a water leak on community property, a problem at the dock or the boat yard, a problem at the pool, and other trouble on the places neighbors share.
Use these for a report that is not happening now. If someone is in danger, or a crime is in progress, call 911.
Berlin Fire Company, Station 600, answers fire and ambulance calls through 911. Atlantic General Hospital is the hospital in Berlin.
A person in the water, a boat in distress, or a medical problem on the river is a 911 call. Tell them you are on the St. Martins River at St. Martin’s by the Bay, near Beauchamp Road in Berlin. On a marine radio, use VHF channel 16.
The association is not the water company. A water outage or a question about drinking water goes to the water system. If a main break is flooding a house or a road, call 911.
A downed line is a 911 call. Stay away from the wire. For an outage with no downed line, call Choptank.
These are the association’s repair contacts. They are not a substitute for 911.
