St Martin’s By The Bay Board Meeting May 4, 2008 Meeting was called to order by Oliver Walsh. Joyce read minutes from previous meeting. Approved and entered. Mike gave Treasurer’s Report: Balance of all CD’s: $25169. Balance in Ck’ing a/c $46172. He plans to merge some of the CD’S that are for the same fund into one CD rather than have several for the same project. Current a/c receivables: $19964. Spread sheet available for all to view. Craig Constantino gave up-date on dock activity. Eleven slips have been paid for the current season – one slip still waiting for payment from tenant. Two shallow slips open. Craig is checking on necessary parts for the repairs, and because of liability lock to remain on entrance to the dock. Ollie gave report from Sharp Water that gear parts for the water system are in and work will start May 5 and will take about a week to get new parts installed and system running smoothly again. Ollie also advised that Barahmi’s payment for survey has not been received. Notice has been sent to him giving ten days from the date of notice, 4/30/08, or other steps will be taken. His stalling has delayed transfer of lands to the Association. Agreement for dock purchase will be available at the next Board meeting. The advantage of ownership of the dock discussed at length during this meeting. Will share King Burnett’s opinion of the Association’s ownership. A bill in the amount of $4400. has been received from Nationwide Insurance for the septic pumps installed at T’house B. It was decided to forward this bill to our insurance for them to handle. Contrary to the Killinger’s definition of what areas of grass should and should not be cut according to information they have received from the County Ollie has been informed by County Officials that the areas in question; dock, septic and leech field are being cut within County guide lines. Joleen volunteered to distribute water restriction notices to each home thru out the community. Architect walk-thru planned for two from this week end, 5/4/08. Some areas of concern is hole in t’house B and condition of parking lot in same area. Owners there discussed black top for the drive ways. Craig Pohland agreed to get estimate for the black top and Owners may have to share cost with the reserve fund. Joe Connors made motion to adjourn meeting and 2nd by Craig Pohland/Constantino.
