St Martin’s By The Bay Board Meeting - December 29, 2007 Meeting was called to order by Oliver Walsh. Minutes were read by Joyce; approved by Mike and 2nd by John. Bill Killinger ask that the minutes be amended to include words exchanged by him, his wife, Jolene and Ollie at the November meeting. However, this all took place after the meeting was adjourned so it was agreed that the confrontation was not part of that meeting. Minutes were not amended. Treasurer’s Report: Mike went over items from spread sheet and gave the total figure that was budgeted for 2007 being $62,250. and advised us that the expenditures has exceeded that amount. At our next meeting the 2008 budget will be discussed and that items to be in the 2008 figure will be monthly installment of the bank loan at BB&T Bank and also an amount set up for legal cost. Ollie – Legal Up-Date: Our attorney, Burnett has informed Ollie that Bahrami has signed necessary documents to activate the Corporation of St Martin’s Group, Inc. meaning that all funds for this account at Calvin B Taylor Bank have been released to the Association of St Martin’s By The Bay. These documents are on file. The survey of parcels of land to be conveyed to the Association of St Martin’s By The Bay have been up-dated with the cost shared 50/50 with Bahrami. The meeting in November with Linda Busick and Bob Mitchell has been declared legal contrary to the opinion of Jolene Killinger. Atlantic Plumbing has been called in this morning for an underground water leakage at townhouse A. Also, according to record keeping our cost for salt usage is down and a reminder that the water restriction of five minutes of hose use per day is still in effect. The previous threat of a daily fine has not been applied. Bill Killinger tells the Board again at this meeting, 12/29/07, that the underground sprinkler system at his home has not been operative for the last two years. However, when John Rinkus stated that he had, while walking his dog during the summer months, seen the system spraying. Killinger then altered his statement to say that the system had been on. Bill Killinger’s request for a copy of the current check register was told that a copy would be available at the end of the year. Notice will be sent for assignment of 2008 boat slips. If response is not received then slips will be assigned on first come basic. Motion to adjourned the meeting by Joyce 2nd by Ollie. Next meeting February 2, 2008 @ OP Library 10:00 A.M.
