St Martin’s By The Bay Board Meeting 11-10-07 Meeting was called to order by Oliver Walsh. Minutes were read and approved. Treasurer’s Report: Mike has made first payment to BB&T bank toward the loan that was acquired for the purpose of paying legal fees, surveying of common grounds, and our water system. The legal and survey fees were incurred getting common area ground transferred from the Developer and his Partner, Baramhi, to the HOA. From this amount thirty thousand dollars, ($30,000.) has been applied to the bill of King Burnett, the Attorney. Monies are being held for the other expenditures. Our budget for the up coming year, 2008, will show an escrow amount for legal expense. There are still two outstanding HOA dues for the current year. The operating cost for 2007 still shows a decline from the year 2006. At this point Jolene Killinger ask for the floor; for the second consecutive month she was ask to apologize to me, Joyce, for the threatening visit to my house on September 28th of this year, 2007. She was ask to apologize or leave the meeting. She shook her head no, indicating that she would not apologize or leave. The State Police were called. After being counseled by the Trooper who arrived she did apologize and stayed for the remainder of the meeting. It was suggested by an attending home owner that these outburst of Jolene’s be noted in the minutes. Mike made motion to amend minutes to include Jolene’s actions and was 2nd by John. Joe Pino had a request to install a fence on his property. The design was within the guide lines of the community and the installation was favored by Mike Shutt and 2nd by Stephanie and Ollie. One thing that bears mention: I’ve heard compliments given to Nancy and Willard Wright for the outstanding job they have done on the tennis court. Attached and part of the current minutes is a copy of an e-mail from Jesse Hammock, Bahrami’ attorney, to King Burnett, HOA’s attorney. Ollie made a motion to adjourn the meeting and was 2nd by John.
