St Martin’s By The Bay Board Meeting – January 14, 2007 Meeting was called to order by Oliver Walsh. Treasurer’s Report: Mike passed out spread sheets, and talked about the legal bill that has incurred due to the litigation with Baramhi and the short fall that we are faced with. This has created the need to move a reserve fund into the general account..He discussed the 2007 budget and the high cost of the pool, lawn care, water and trash. His thoughts are if more community members would volunteer to assist with pool maintenance, water system, boat storage and other needs that come up some of the high cost would be reduced. Trash removal has been cut back to one and now two days a week, and use of the dumpsters still being abused. With the recent outage of water, and with the description of the repair Stephanie Nornes assisted with printing notices and delivering to home Owners to use caution and to boil tap water used for cooking and drinking. The Attorney for the Association; Burnett King then gave us an over view of the properties to be deeded to the Association. From a plat he pointed out the vacant parcels, water/sewer lines and gave number of acres +/- to convey from Baramhi. Back to the Meeting: The discussion continued about the 2007 budget. Ollie made a motion and 2nd by Mr. Connors that dues be increased by 10%. This is an increase of approximately $100.00 per property owner. The Treasurer will give a more detail report at the annual meeting. The general meeting, is February 17th at 3:30 P.M. in the large meeting room at the Worcester County Library.
