Board Meeting
Meeting was called to order by Oliver Walsh. Minutes of last meeting, September, were read and amended to read; Board members approved the delay of applying for dumpster permit. All Board members agreed to read minutes of current meeting at meeting the following month. Minutes will be one month late going on Web Site. Also amended to read Joe Connors in attendance. Treasurer, Mike Shutt, distributed balance sheets, and talked about the expense of lawn care, pool service, pool maintenance, chemicals for treatment of community water supply. One outstanding bill from Sharp water in 2004 for chemical delivery being questioned.

Stephanie remarked about the condition of the pool this summer that it was not properly main-tained, and was not as clean as it was when done by community members. Joleen Killinger is taking the certification course so she will be available next season to oversee the pool. I will get correct and up-dated dialog for a new sign to be installed at the pool. This will give notice that there is no Lifeguard, and adult supervision is required for swimmers under the age of 15. This information comes from the Worcester County Board of Health. Bahrami up-date: Meeting next week with Bahrami was rejected by Board on advise of attorney, Burnett. Some Board members along with Jack Shook had a meeting Friday 10/06/06 with King Burnett. Boat Storage: Ollie suggested a charge for off season parking of boats in boat area. This was discussed in previous meeting, sounding like a good idea. But, who owns the boats in the boat area? Ollie agreed to draft a letter to home owners that boats in storage area not registered in home owner name will be towed after giving proper notice, and also alerting local law enforcement of intention, and installing sign stating: Private Property – Tow Area At Owners Expense. Craig Pohland agreed to look at back side of Pool house to determine feasibility of use for commercial equipment. Charges for repairs and charges for use to be discussed. Meeting was adjourned.
