QTY 1 2_Installation of pre- fabricated steel plates Remove old rusted plates from each finger pier. Install supplied stainless steel 12 gauge #316 alloy marine grade plates to secure finger piers properly. Includes labor and hardware $1,115 including bolts QTY 1 3_ Secure main dock $2,500 QTY 1 Remove existing and supply and install all material and hardware needed for two angle brackets at beginning of main dock. Supply and install six pole brackets with chain and pvc pipes. All stainless steel including brackets, chain and hardware. Includes labor and materials.
Total $5,890 - I M P O R T A N T - This estimate is only for work tasks and quantities specifically listed above. If different quantities, tasks and options are required, the estimate will need to be revised. There may be situations when, in the course of performing work, an emergency repair is identified through no fault of the contractor (e.g., discovery of faulty wiring). In these cases, contractor will use best efforts to notify the customer immediately but in any event we will make the necessary emergency repairs and will keep additional costs to a minimum. The commencement and completion dates of work are subject to conditions outside of contractor's control, such as acts of God, material unavailability and strikes. Both parties agree to amend this schedule due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the contractor's control. NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS: Customers have the right to contact the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) at 500 N. Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD 21202. 1-888-218-5925. The Maryland Home Improvement Commission administers the Guaranty Fund which may compensate customers for certain actual losses caused by acts or omissions of licensed contractors; and a customer has the right to purchase a performance bond for additional protection against losses not covered by the Guaranty Fund. If you are borrowing money to finance this home improvement project, please be aware that this contract creates a mortgage or lien against your property to secure payment, and may cause a loss of your property if you fail to pay the amount agreed upon. You have the right to consult an attorney. You have the right to rescind this contract within five business days after the date you sign it or seven days if you are at least the age of 65 after the date of the transaction, by notifying the contractor in writing that you are rescinding the contract. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: MJ Services reserves the right to order work changes or additions (with the customer's approval) if additional work or services are requested by the customer or if, after the work has commenced, MJ Services discovers a condition or defect which was not included in the original proposal/work order. Any such changes shall be in the form of an addendum to this work order and shall be signed by both parties. This contract will be construed under the laws of the State of Maryland and customer agrees to personal jurisdiction and venue being appropriate in Worcester County, Maryland. Final Payment is Due Upon Completion of the work project. Customer agrees to make travel or local arrangements necessary in order to provide final payment on site at the completion of the project. Any unpaid balance after thirty days shall accrue a late payment charge of 1.5% per day on any outstanding balance. Customer agrees that it shall be responsible for all reasonable collection costs, including attorneys' fees, interest, filing fees and other expenses in connection with the collection efforts undertaken by the contractor. Customer understands and agrees that there are costs associated with scheduling, the commencement and continuation of the project and that any delays requested by the customer or interruptions in work schedule due to customer requests which may increase the costs of this project. This may include additional trip charges and other expenses incurred in mobilizing the work force and equipment. MJ Services reserves the right to rescind this proposal if not accepted within thirty days. Thank you for allowing MJ Services to provide this estimate.
